About the Award’s Namesake
The Circle is proud to introduce this new award in honour of Colonel [Ret’d] the Hon. Donald S. Ethell, who recently retired following distinguished service as Alberta’s 17th Lieutenant Governor. Colonel Ethell’s dedication to mental health comes from his own experiences with post traumatic stress disorder as well as his belief that no one should ever have to suffer in silence.
