Mark the New Year with the Lieutenant Governor

Everyone is welcome to join the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta for a traditional New Year’s Day levee at Government House in Edmonton.

His Honour, Col. (Ret’d) the Honourable Donald S. Ethell and Her Honour Linda Ethell will be welcoming members of the public to Government House on Tuesday, January 1. The levee is an open house where visitors can meet and have a photo taken with the Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Ethell, enjoy music and light refreshments and write a postcard to Canadian Forces members serving overseas. Guests will also have the opportunity to view historic Government House which will be marking its centennial in 2013.

Note: Admission to the event is free and the levee is suitable for all ages. Tickets/RSVPs are not required. Free parking is available. Government House is handicapped accessible.
